Scener takes a little more than Netflix to set up. Get the Scener Chrome extension installed and tap on the extension icon. The platform window will open in two tabs or windows, one for the show/movie screen, and a separate chat window, unlike Netflix.
Scener enables you to use your camera and mic alongside chatting. You can wish to turn on the same or avoid if you want to keep it as lowkey texting. Once you start the party by clicking on the play button, everyone else has to click the play button manually to stream the show, it’ll get in sync for everyone else.
While Netflix can go full-screen without creating any troubles for you. Scener, on the other hand, has to be manually set up, such as dragging the chat window to the full-screen playback window to keep a check on the chat window as well.
